Key Feature Updates

We’re excited to share several new updates coming to our product. This article provides a high-level overview of these enhancements. For detailed instructions on using these features, please visit our Help Portal.

MuniciPay - Shared Checkout  NEW

Staff members can now share a customer's checkout directly with the person making the payment.

A checkout link can be sent by email or text message, or shared using a QR code. The link remains active until the expiration time selected by the staff member who starts the checkout.

Note: This feature will be available for standard over-the-counter (OTC) checkouts. API based OTC checkouts will also support Shared Checkout, but access will be permission based.

IVR Department Emails  Enhanced

Departments can now receive emailed receipts for IVR transactions giving greater visibility into IVR activity and helping keep transaction records centralized.

The department email functions similarly to a BCC address, allowing the department to automatically receive a copy of the transaction receipt.

AutoPay Enrollment Overhaul  Enhanced

We've streamlined the AutoPay enrollment experience to make set up faster and easier for payers.

Payers can now move through the enrollment process without performing multiple searches or leaving the flow to login or add a payment method separately.

After selecting Enroll, payers can:

Log in, if needed, and continue enrollment without losing the item they selected.

View their next scheduled payment date, when available, and add a new payment method directly within the enrollment process.

Return automatically to the setup page after adding a payment method to complete enrollment.

These improvements create a more seamless enrollment experience and reduce unnecessary steps for payers setting up AutoPay
