Key Feature Updates
We’re excited to share several new updates coming to MuniciPay product. This article provides a high-level overview of these enhancements. For detailed instructions on using these features, please visit our Help Portal.
MuniciPay Updates
Run Transaction Navigation Update
The “Run Transaction” navigation item has been converted to a department dropdown, allowing quicker access for over-the-counter (OTC) payments within specific departments.
Updated Navigation: “Make Payment” → “Home”
The Make Payment navigation link has been replaced with Home to eliminate confusion for users who thought selecting "Make Payment" would add and item to their cart.
Checkout Enhancements
- The system now remembers the last payment option used by OTC users, automatically defaulting to that option during future checkouts. This eliminates the need to switch between payment types each time.
- Payers and OTC users can now pre-fill address fields at checkout using cart data. The system automatically pulls address details from the item entered during selection.
Miscellaneous Changes
- Payment Methods: Nicknames are now optional for your payers and is no longer a required field.
- Receipt Page: Added a direct link to EscrowTaxes on the receipt page, allowing payers to easily enroll their parcel in monthly payments through our EscrowTaxes product. (Colorado government offices only)
- Other Payment Options: Added short descriptions beneath each payment option available, helping payers better understand each option's purpose and usage.
